What tagging format does fb2k use to tag mp4 files?
richard123
Checking a file with a hex editor, I see "udta UTAG4" before the tag info.

case's tag reports "no known tags"

Apple's quicktime format perhaps?

I believe it was mentioned before that it's Menno's tagging format which is simlar to OGG comments.

Any idea where this was mentioned? All search has turned up so far is the general hope that Menno would do something about mp4 tagging. And I haven't found anything directly related to foobar2k tagging.

Thanks

btw, is there a command line tagger, or have I messed up searching for this too?

commandline tagger = tag by case!

As I mentioned in the second post in this thread, when I run case's tag on an mp4 tagged by foobar2000, I get "File has no known tags." More precisely, I have to use the --nocheck option, else tag reports "Incorrect extension."

This led me to believe Case's tag does not work with mp4's. Am I missing something?
