2 remarks on the search window:
- isn't possible to only have 1 instance of the search window. For the moment you get a new search window everytime you press F3 - if a search window is already open, that one should be put in foreground instead of opening a new one
- when fb2k is minimized to the systray, the search window is not always created as the top most/active/foreground window (i think it is only the case the very first time you press the global hotkey to popup the playlist search window)

1. It only creates one instance of the search window here. In fact, it's not even possible to focus on the main window while the search is open, so I don't know how you'd even send another F3 keystroke to the window.
2. See number one.
3. Dunno about this one.
If fb2k is minimized to the systray, you have a new search window each time you use the global hotkey that is assigned to the Playlist Search function

Ah, global hotkeys. I didn't think about that. (Peter probably didn't either)
Why would you have a global hotkey or playlist search, anyway?
because 99% of the time fb2k just sits in the systray and when i want to search for a song, i just want to be able to do that without using the mouse...
I too have global hotkey for playlist search (alt+j) and it seems to work just fine with no collisions with any Windows' hotkeys (or at least not ones I need/use) and it's for the very same reason as vha: I've got foobar nearly always minimized, or at least it's not the active window and then it's handy to have the global hotkey.

Doesn't seem all that useful to me. (But then, I've never thought that the playlist search was overly useful, anyway.)
Still the same behavior/bug in v0.62:
- sevaral instances of the search window when activated via a global hotkey
- search window is not created as the topmost window

these are the only problems I'd like to have corrected (or modified?) in foobar. other things are perfect for me.
