Garf,
I've searched your website, there's only a ogggt2 DROP & BATCH no dll ...................and the beta gt3

I'm really impressed with the quality of ogggt2!

I've made a sample once with CollEdit, invert, mix, stereo wide etc... and I've successfully made a sample that kill all WMA, WMA9Pro, LAME preset, OGG Re.
They all suffers from some kind of terrible obvious echo not 0.0x sec. pre-echo but a 1-2 sec. pre-echo.. WMA, WMA9Pro, and OGG Re is the worst among all the codecs mentioned above even quality 98 (WMA) and 100 (OGG Re)
I wanted to upload that sample but I accidentally overrided it sad.gif and I can't figure out how to make that sample back coz I've forgotten how I mix it ...

Only MPC and of course OGG GT2 is free from that serious error.....

Since OGG GTx is the best OGG codec, so I suggest making dll (CDex) for it and stin and stout support too. If you are too busy, at least the next version GTx have stin and stout if dll is impossible

smile.gif Actually I needed it coz I'm lazy to extract all CDs to wav and drag them to DROP then delete the wave file after encoding, all I want is a transparent CD to ogggtx encoding rolleyes.gif

THANKS IN ADVANCE, GARF
Garf
The source for GT2 is freely available from my website, so anyone with a compiler and some time can do this, I'm sure someone on the board will help you out.

The source for GT3b1 is not available, but I will make it available, since I have no time to work on it right now.

Does that mean you would be willing to allow me to use your code as the basis for a variety of optional compiles? I am obviously willing to attach any notice/disclaimer that you may wish to have attached. wink.gif

Sure, that's why I'd publish sources smile.gif

Once Garf releases the code, it shouldn't take too long, a day or two. smile.gif

Has the GT3 beta 1 source code been released yet? I can only see gt3 b2 on Garf's ftp site. If not, I hope Garf releases it soon.

Have fun! smile.gif

Although I have no experience of these files I think the next version should fix this. smile.gif

If not please get a sample to me...

GT3b1 dlls now available at Rarewares Ogg Vorbis page. smile.gif All produce identical encoding results with my other GT3b1 compiles and with Garf's original OggencGT3b1.exe.
