Well, that is, how do you do to burn a CD without the 64 characters limit?
I use Nero and don't know how

I have ISO's with filenames that are much longer than 64 characters. Nero burns them just fine, with their original file lengths.

The one thing I haven't tried is to actually create an ISO with Nero that has long filenames and burn that.

That is what I want to do, create a new compilation with Nero...

You will need to use Romeo instead of Joliet filesystem extension.

The only burning software I know of that support Romeo are NTI CD Maker and CDMate

I don't believe it's neccesary to use Romeo. I just tested this with CopyToDVD - I created an iso with an 80 character filename. I didn't try to actually burn the iso but I mounted it with Daemon and the filename is still intact. If anyone cares enough I have a cdrw right here, I'll be happy to burn it and check.

FYI, I just created an iso with a file which has a 162 character filename. I believe Romeo's limit is 128. As before, I didn't try to actually burn it but I did mount it and the ridiculously long filename is still intact.

BAO allow long file names, until 207 characters
