I have the sony mp70 and really like it except for the fact that when i put a new mp3 cd in it plays the new cd but remembers the old id3 tags from the old cd, so it displays the old id3 tag names, also which makes the timing of the songs on the new cd off. I reset the sony put a new burn in and it read the new cd so i took that cd out put another burn in and still had the same problem. I've tried id3 version 1 & 2, also every burn software there is. Please someone tell me they have heard of this and know a solution At first I thought that there was something wrong with my HU, but at a sony forum I found a person that was having the same problem. They took two mp3 cd's to best buy and tested the sony on display, it also did the same thing. But the Kenwood and Pioneer (mp3 player) read the id3 tags correctly. Also I have tried calling Sony's tech support they weren't no help. How can Sony put out a mp3 player that don't even read the cd right...Anyway I need a solution hope someone out there has one or can relate to my problem....

Don't despair...somebody will likely read your post and offer a suggestion; it takes more than 5 seconds, you know. Just don't post in the wrong forum and/or more than once. Patience will serve you well at HA. wink.gif

Great, 4 crossposts, and replies in different threads. Are you deliberately trying to generate work for the mods? Consider this a (friendly) warning... rolleyes.gif
