Hi!.
Next week I'll made a presentation of a multimedia for a client (Is a "wedding suits" designer), I think that a perfect music for the background of the presentatión will be an electronic theme with an "oriental inspiration".

I think "Orbital" have some themes in this line, but are too "moved"... I need something more "quiet" (low BPMs), I think some more in the line of "chill-out" or "lounge" themes... hope you know what I mean.

If you remember some theme in this line that could recomend me I'll be very plesed.
Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi Q.
Thanks for your help....
mmmm sounds god... the only drawback Is that sometimes sounds alittle "obscure" or "dramatic"... I was thinking in a melody more "neutral", but I'll consider it as an option...

Thanks again.
I'll keep looking for...

Best regards.

I don't think you may find this easily, but I have an album by Radio Chongching. You can find some info from the record company's website, here. I like this album a lot, but I'm not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for.

Well I know of one group who is likely to have something like what you are describing. Denki-groove is all over that spectrum. Although it might be a bit hard to come by an album on short notice unless you are in Japan. Add to that I can not think of the songs name or the album it came from. And finding sites hosting samples is hard since most of them are in japanese and I barely speak any and can read almost none. tongue.gif If you are looking for a lounge type track perhaps something jazzy I can recomend "Deejay PunkRoc - Chicken Eye - The World Is My Ashtray" It does not get much smoother than that. It just rolls.

Doh! Why oh why did I not remember these two sooner! One of the two or both have what you are looking for fer sure.

Ken Ishii: A prolofic remixer and techno artist from Japan. His own work often has a heavy influence from traditional Japanese music.

Towa Tei: Need I say more? In case you are unsure of who he is. His first major apperance was back in the early ninteys as the dejay for dee-lite. Very groovy and lounge like house/techno from the underground new york clubs. He has since gone solo and recently remixed a whole slew of other artists as wel as release a few albums of his own. The most recent IIRC had a track featuring Kylie Minogue called "German Bold Italic". I think it could suit your needs nicely.
