i was probing around the PM site in .../extra/ [with getright browser] and am curious why this site doesn't host files other than LAME? it wouldn't take that much space to host some great files in all encoder/decoder categories, would it? [MPC, OGG, AAC, etc.] or at least have a single download page that links to all downloads...

then this site would be even more badass...thanx

1. - AAC coudn't be distributed here, since its distribution in binary format is forbidden in the US.

2. - Dibrom (site owner) is too busy working in other (more important) projects. But, AFAIK, he's already planning some big news regarding the site structure.

There are plans to bring all of the "dormant" sections of this site to life before too long, including the download/links sections, the technical articles section, the FAQ section, and maybe some other stuff.. as well as to maintain the site more rigerously, but until any of that is going to happen, sphoid and I must release at least an initial version of our BlindAudio program coming up soon. We should have a release out later tonight if things continue to go well..

So basically, stay tuned for some big updates in the not too distant future...

i wasn't complaining about the lack of these features...i just noticed that you had folders for these formats with nothing in them and was hopeful for them to be bursting with great software...one can hope, can't he?

and to rjamorim...nice site restructure!...very pleasing to the eye balls...

perhaps ONE improvement would be to limit the amount of pages [assuming that these pages are as full as they will be...or close to it] that need to load...maybe only use 2 or 3 pages for downloads instead of one for each format...just a thought...

thats what i think as well. you could structure it into encoder/decoder/other stuff for example.

There are other chages coming to the page.

If a reduce the number of pages, they'll become too bloated, and you will take a lot of time to find something there. (Just like the old page... )

But I'll take your ideas in consideration when updating.
