@ case:

a ) now with the new winamp 2 SDK out, is it possible to make a new input plugin, compiled for the new winamp-library metadata-handling???
or is one already out???

b ) what is the current in_mpc version number??? I use a german winamp 2 distribution (from mpex.net) and here is 0.99a delivered. On your website .98 seems to be your current release.

I didn't see anything on NSDN or Winamp's forums, where can I find it?

0.98 is latest official version, 0.99a was compiled from latest sources for someone who reported issues in German help texts. If I remember correctly only other change besides the help text fix is correct bitrate display when changing between average/current bitrate mode during playback.

Winamp 2.90 SDK
Here is the SDK for winamp 2.90.

This includes much revised IPC calls, with many more functions (including meta-data editing), and the stuff for writting plugins that skin like winamp. Kind of neat.

Justin gave the all clear to post this, so here it is!

This SDK is not for input plugin developers, it doesn't allow writing new metadata handling functions. It only describes new messages added to winamp which are pretty much useless in inputs.
