How come there are so many cat avatars going around lately? I have seen like five among the people that post relatively frequently (which btw are not too many).

Den's avatar is a little dog called "Rex The Runt" from an animated TV series in the UK. I love that little dog. Even if I do like cats a lot. Rex is just so damn cool!

Thanks for the clarification superdumprob. I found it on an avatar page whilst looking for a decent itchy (from itchy and scratchy) image, but it looked way cooler than any of the others so I grabbed it. The fact that the file name was rex.gif was probably a give away... Can't imagine a cat called Rex.

It doesn't hurt to have a dog or two around anyway... Keep all these cats on their toes/paws.

It is a character in a Turkish humour mag. His name is "Mean Cat Serafettin" and he is quite mean and crude and speaks dirty all the time. They had a poster in which Serafettin was grabbing the throat of Garfield...
