Hi,

I've adapted my web page on VQF format ( http://vqf.webisdead.net/ ) in order that it fits if the use that reads it is a "VQF zealot" or a "normal user" just wanting to read VQF files.

I now use only Ogg and MP3 files between 192 and 320 kbps (--alt-insane preset).
Sometimes I need some informations on that kind of stuff so may I come back please ? (I think my main connection to the Internet has forbidden acces to this forum).

(NOTE: As it isn't clear for everybody, my problem now is that I'm accessing here only through my 56k modem, my cable connexion is banned (I suppose))



(PS: I would also like to thank "John33" for his avatar, I was looking for such a graphic, but I had found just a small one with no transparency color.
PPS: Hmm ... actually I can't get a transparency color in any animated gif anymore ... )

I do not really care about your changes on your website, but I am perfectly ok with your come back here.
This is because it seems to me that recently you tried to learn about encoders, parameters and quality on other forum (hardware.fr). At this place your attitude was positive.

This person violated forum rules multiple times and happily ignored all warnings he got, I don't see any reasons to give him another chance.

I agree. Ludwig has made his request and now it's up for the admins to decide. It's their responsability. We shouldn't turn this thread into debating other issues.

I agree too about leaving this topic like this, I'd just like to be sure they'll read it.
