Have any of you that own the Revo had as many problems with the drivers as this guy?

Just about.

The worst problems ATM are A3D not working properly and the drivers corrupting themselves if I leave the computer for a while. If I leave the computer on over night, when I come back in the morning the sound is very loud and highly destorted. I have to swicth the card to another mode and back again to reload the drivers and get rid of the problem.

I'm running both the Rev 7.1 and my old TBSC until the problems are fixed. I'm not happy. M-Audio's tech support has been useless so far and I wish I'd gone for an Audigy 2 instead.

Drivers corrupting themselves? That sounds very odd. I have no such issues with my Revo and I have my pc on for weeks at a time. What does the rest of your system consist of? I also still have my Santa Cruz installed...but only for gaming.

Like I said above, I have zero issues with the Revo and would like to know what your system consists of and maybe help troubleshoot!

Not everything is connected at the same time. All the latest patches are applied for XP. I could try setting my FSB back to 133, swaping PCI slots and messing with IRQs but I just don't have the time at the moment. Neither my TBSC or my Fortissimo 3 needed anything like that done. I built the machine myself and have rather a lot of experience with harware/software problems and computing in general. If there is something you can suggest though I'll give it a shot.

My PC is up 24/7 and is only restarted for swaping hardware or software installations that require it. It doesn't crash unless I install bad drivers.

Maximum PC had a review in their last issue too, they very much liked the sound (more than Audigy 2), but because it uses the CPU for processing they had to mark it off, as it lowered frames per second (by a surprising amount).
