The current plugin is for WinAmp 2, not WinAmp 3.

It works in winamp 3 though (at least partially)...
I use winamp3, and use the new plugin with it, as well...
I don't think all the features work, though-which is why I was asking the question (seeing as I am relatively new to .mpc)...
basically we need somone to get the source of pp's winamp plugin and update it when new releases of mppdec come out, or perhaps there is a way that you can adapt the winamp 2.x plugin for winamp3 (without pp's winamp2 plugin adapter)
i think it wouldn't be a big pain to just use the winamp2 plugin with winamp3 - wa2input.wac was originally meant as a temporary hack for formats that don't have native wa3 plugins yet, but it turns out to work much better than i expected. obviously, you will need native WA3 plugin in order to take advantage of incoming SV8 tagging.
btw, you people should *really* consider making a serious portable mpc decoding library (libvorbis-like), that would make it much easier to add mpc support to any players (i've done some framework about it, but my code is out-of-date now).

Does anybody know why, when playing a list of .mpc files in winamp3beta3days I am getting the message:
*The media converter "WaveOut Output" executed an illegal operation. Restart of winamp3 is recommended (1)*
But when I click "OK" the next track plays. This happens when using the .90k and when toggling it off-using the one in the latest wa3plugz. This didn't used to happen to me before with winamp3, so if I have done something incorrectly, I would like to rectify my mistake...

OK, selecting crossfade does the trick, except I would like to have the crossfade effectively off-this works better for live albums and albums that bleed tracks together (Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" for instance). Is there a setting to do this (I am sure there is)? I crashed the thing when I changed the crossfade value to 0, and had to restart for the plugin manager to show up again...
i really cant say, but with winamp 3 it is better in my opinion to use the native plugin made by pp.
