Soon after I made foobar2000 (version 0.666) the default player on the system my father asked me what the hell is going on.
He told me that when Winamp 2.81 was the default player Play All function in Windows XP Explorer worked just fine and now it doesn't work anymore. Here is how to reproduce:
1. Open Windows Explorer
2. Go to a folder with a lot of MP3s or other music
3. On the left side click Play All under Music Tasks category
Actual results:
Sort incoming files disabled: foobar2000 loads only a few files and then another ew files and then another bunch of few files. It always replaces previous playlist on every load of a few files
Then I also disabled Replace current playlist... and it now loaded all files. But the sorting of the files is still not the same as in Windows Explorer. it seams to be random.
Expected results:
foobar should load and play ALL files an replace current playlist when you click Play All (if Replace current playlist is enabled). If Replace current playlist is disabled it should just append ALL the files to playlist and then play from the first newly added file. In both cases it should use the same sorting as Windows Explorer uses if Sort incoming files is disabled.
