Ooops have not been checking Close CD in Burrrn

Just noticed that Close CD is not checked in Burrrn on both my PC's.

When I QUIT Burrrn does it close the CD any way?

I.E. is unchecking this box for the purpose of adding additional data with Burrrn BEFORE I quit the application?

I usually Quit Burrrn everytime I burn a disk and it ejects.

I have Eject checked so it ejects after burrning the CD.

I thought multi session CD's (not closed) would not even play except on a computer. I've been playing these disks on my DVD player with few or no problems.

Is it possible I have a bunch of open, multisession Audio CD's which might not play on all stereo equipment because of me not checking Close CD?

If so, how can I go back and determine if the CD's are closed or still open, and how can I close them if in fact they are still open.

If you don't tick the option to close a cd before burning then it wont be closed. It may or may not cause a problem (depends on your other cd players). To check the status of the CD use Nero CD Speed.

It isn't a problem. CD players read the first session only and ignore further sessions. When burning CDs with the close CD option unchecked, then the selected audio content is written as the first session on the disc which then is closed after writting, but only the session is closed and not the disc, meaning that further sessions can be appended later if needed to make eg. an CD-EXTRA. What needs to be closed for a CD player to recognice the CD is the session and not the disc.

Is this because the TOC isn't written until the session is closed?

I started a new thread

Nero Burrrn BurnAtOnce Multi Session CD Audio + Data

but to put it briefly, I purposefully burned an audio CD with Burrrn leaving the Close CD option unchecked, because I want to see if I can fit the .cue, track.flac's, & .jpgs in a second session on the same CD.

But HOW DO I DO IT? using either Burrrn, Nero, BurnAtOnce, or even Roxio?

Have already quit Burrrn. Can I go back now and add a second DATA session and with what app and HOW?

Thanks.
