Batch Log Checker

Hi there, I'm in need of a log checker to confirm that all of my rips are infact 100% correct (as I believe they are).

Problem is I have thousands of albums and it would take a long time to check one at a time.

Is anyone up for making a batch .log application that checks all the logs in a directory recursively and gives a score out of 100 - basically like the single .log checkers but for multiple logs.

You may think I'm lazy asking this... and I am... but also I have no idea how to code so I'm hoping someone here will want to take it up!

Cheers!

You might want to try fooaccrip. Thread here. It doesn't check the log files but instead checks your rips against the accuraterip database, which is better in my opinion.

Thanks, not really what I'm after tho.

I have alot of log files so want to check whether each rip is a proper. The tool I use atm checks against AR for the CD read offset correction, but it also checks every important setting to see whether it's been ripped correctly.

I just need a version that takes multiple logs and gives a score out of 100.

So what do you define by a proper rip just by looking at the logs?

Umm.... well at least I can't for sure. I do T/C, and it does a pretty good job, but they are not ensuring a 100% perfect rip. Just a few days ago I encountered a T/C similar CRC, but my other drive ripped it correctly according to AR!

If not fooaccrip suit your needs I guess tripleflac won't eigher, but I'm sure that's almost the only perfect way to find out if your rips are perfect.
Can't wait for a HD-AAC encoder :P

Well, there's a web-based log checker i'm aware of and use regularly, it checks that certain things in the log are enabled/disabled, checks that the CRC's match and if possible checks the drive and read offset to make sure they are correct.

I know it can be done, I just need a batch solution!
