I personally wouldn't use it because from the screenshot it looks like the whole CD would be immersed in the cleaning solution. Since some older CDs can have some pretty flimsy or deteriorating labels (some old Elektra audio CDs from the 1980's come to mind) that little ultra sonic bath In my view may possibly damage the disc even further.

I know first hand that a few of my older 80's audio CDs were destroyed due to getting the label side wet, that's the Elektra's I was eluding to above.

Exactly. I've always used a microfiber eyeglass cleaning cloth with eyeglass cleaning solution that's formulated for and is safe for plastics.

While vinyl LPs are the same thing, I remember reading about an ultrasonic cleaner once introduced for LPs. Not only did it take the label off too often, it had some effect of disassembling the surface layer, causing very small pits.
