foo_playcount: Which Fonts do support Stars?

Hi there,

I am using the official foo_playcount component for rating and such.

So far the only fonts I have found that displays stars for the foo_playcount tags %rating_stars% & %rating_stars_fixed%  are all from
the DejaVu family, and I don't like this family very much. Any other known Fonts which can display those stars?

I am using ColumnsUI & NGPlaylist (where there is a "Rating" Column) & WinXP Pro SP3.

There are lots of recommendations.
You can use the term 'font stars' in the search for help.

The majority of the fonts that are mentioned didn't do the trick for me.
Arial Unicode MS works, which I've forgot to add when I installed MS Office.

Thank you for the help.

If you install the East Asian language support pack for windows XP you'll get font substitution and won't have to worry about picking the right font.

Code: [Select]
($char(9733)

will displays stars in CUI Playlists.

Windows vista and 7 both have font substitution as a standard features, so, JFTR, any font would work on those operating systems.
