Is there a good tagger that works for mpc and for linux as well? I am a linux only user so win32 wont do :]

I am not sure what tags can be used in mpc anyway, but maybe you can help me

Nah, not a stupid question

Try [a href="http://easytag.sourceforge.net/]EasyTag[/url]. It may also be included in your distribution (it is included in Debian).

Ape v2 are pretty much the de facto standard now, even though I think you can use Ape v1 and ID3 v1.x also... ID3 v2.x are an absolute no-no, and will break compability with almost everything. You should stick with Ape v2. If totally unavoidable you might use ID3 v1.x...

Has anyone tried MediaMonkey and its APEv2 Tagging on MPC.
