Does anyone know how to play HE-AAC in BEOS or at least AAC??

Maybe you can contact the author of CL-amp and ask him for a plugin based on Faad2? I believe libfaad2 compiles well on BeOS.

But you mean, you have also searched out and found no support in any BEOS player yet, right??

Don't know about 1by1 support, but you can get newer version of in_mp4 from Case's site here:

(Seems Roberto doesn't have updated in_mp4 in rarewares)

I don't know for sure if we will see it, but the upcoming 3ivx D4 4.5 codec for BeOS may support HE-AAC decoding. At least the Windows version does. Unfortunately I'm not so sure how this codec gets used. If it is just a decoder/encoder-library then maybe it just supports video not audio.

Eh? It's in_mp4 RC3 there, that was released a few days ago at Audiocoding.
