pink noise test file to level-match speakers

This stereo file allows quick and easy level matching of two speakers.

Put two speakers face to face at about 10 cm distance and feed the pink noise signal to each one. The right channel is a phase inverted copy of the left channel, so they will cancel when the levels are identical. Adjust the level of one speaker to obtain the softest sound by ear. Speakers are not perfect, so don't expect complete silence. Low frequencies are easiest to cancel out, high frequencies the hardest. Move the speakers a bit to find the best position.
This test doesn't require high SPL levels.

When the test is done and the speakers are in their final position they should sound equally loud, unless you are listening to them from different distances and/or angles, or your room acoustics is doing strange things. (I'm assuming healthy hearing  )
