links to pics and configs, a bit more user friendly than my previous configs, it is kind of designed for myself, so it turns [iPod] playlists into single mode playlists and some other stuff noted under linked pics.

What VS is that?  From that capital S on the start button, and the search bar colour matching it's background colour (see pic below for mine), I take it it's not the normal XP Silver.

Additionally, the position bar widget background problem can be fixed by mucking around in the .msstyles for the VS in question. I believe it was described earlier in this thread.

It's the German (that explains the capital S) Windows XP Silver.

The background issue was apparently fixed in one of the last Columns UI versions.

I didn't apply any other fix/patch/whatever to the default visual style.

New wallpaper means new color scheme. Still using a slightly tweaked version of Navigator Suite. Still no album art, panel vis, track info, explorer tree, playlist switcher or anything like that.

I added the color scheme to the array of predefined colors instead of using the custom color scheme functionality Lyx provided with Navigator Suite. Here is the array entry:

I only see a square as symbol. How can I integrate the correct symbol? I tried to copy the symbol from Word (font Arial Unicode), but this doens't work.

EDIT: Solved the problem through using another font (Arial Unicode MS) in album list

Coming from iTunes, this is my first attempt with Foobar2000:



But right now i'm temporary switching back to iTunes 5.0 untill Foobar2000 v9.0 is released, for the following reasons:
- Smart Playlist aka Autoplaylists?
- I can't get used to fb2k's search function (even installed AMIP to have a search function -Ctrl-J-) :$
- In an attempt to configure the beta i couldn't manage to install ui_columns
- etc.

Or am I overlooking some of Foobar2000's v8/beta compatible components?

Autoplaylist that dynamicly updates playlists is included in the beta installer.
For the 0.9 beta you need the [a href="http://music.morbo.org/beta.php]columns_ui alpha[/url] - and don't forget the runtime libs on the same page.

Century Gothic 7pt Bold

The font is from Monotype Imaging. The MAC+WIN OpenType version is US$29. You can probably find an illicit download somewhere....

I dulled the colors a bit on my old, all-blue config.



- the background of the playing song alternates between the color you see and a slightly darker, as well as the arrows move on both the left and right.
- the bar at the top with the song info changes between that info and the filename every 6 seconds or so.

Thanks. Your color schemes are gorgeous. I would rip them into my own config but I'm too lazy.

Frutiger Linotype comes with many Windowsblinds schemes and with a program called Windows Journal Viewer (I think)
