Full file buffering?

Is there any chance whatsoever to get the "Full file buffering" back into foobar? as it seems to be missing in 0.9.2.

The "Full file buffering" option is on the "Advanced" preferences page.

There appears to be a bug since full file buffering was transferred to the "Advanced" preferences page.

If the file size is entered in kB as indicated on the "Advanced" preferences page then full file buffering does not appear to work. To get it to work the file size needs to be entered in bytes - which is fine but confusing as it still says kB.

Applies to 0.9.2, 0.9.3b1 and 0.9.3b2.

If full file buffering is not working then after pressing play, playback starts pretty much instantaneously. If full file buffering is working there is a small delay between pressing play and playback starting (provided the file is not already in memory). This is most noticeable with large flac or wav files where the delay can be a few seconds whilst the whole file is read.

If full file buffering is set to the exact size of the file being played in bytes according to properties, or larger, then full file buffering works. If the file size is entered in kB or set just one byte less than the file size it does not work. This occurs with the default install with no plug-ins installed and on two different computers.

I can also tell when full file buffering is not working because during quiet music I can hear my external USB drive reading the disc every few seconds (which it doesn't do when full file buffering is working).
