Very nice.

Bug in converter: in preview, file extension doubles (e.g. 02 - Singtree.mp3.mp3). Nevertheless fb2k creates files with correct names.

Hotfixed. The latest version won't have that bug.

The crash report submission system has already proven itself to be extremely helpful. Please keep the reports coming, even if the problem you've encountered seems insignificant or you can tell that it's a third party DLL issue.
I've fixed two different obscure bugs based on the reports already and third confirmed bug is being researched now.
Microsoft Windows: We can't script here, this is bat country.

Hi Peter
It seems that the automated bug reporting is helping.

I've had a few crashes recently but when they happen I also get the '...application has stopped warning from Vista'. I then have to click Send or cancel. This appears over the dialog box from foobar. Which box do I attend to first?

Also, is there some way for you to report on the bug report received - just so we can check if ours have got through.

Oh yes, thanks for controlling this wonderful application. I appreciate it.

Doesn't matter which first, but be sure to submit the foobar2000's one. Standard Windows Error Reporting sends the report to Microsoft and it cost some additional money and effort to get them for your application.

It did. You'd see a popup message otherwise.
Full-quoting makes you scroll past the same junk over and over.

Haven't seen the dialog yet. Is it possible to save and send crash reports later? (for when you're not always connected to the internet)

Sorry, what I said was not entirely true. You can't currently postpone the submitting too - but the failureXXXXXX.txt files are created as usual, you can post them here on the forum like before.

(Beta 2 up, fyi.)
Full-quoting makes you scroll past the same junk over and over.

Has there been any change regarding the "foobar2000 Shell Associations Updater.exe"?

I had the latest 0.9.6.3 version installed and realized, Vista UAC clocked in at any fb2k start, because of the shell updater. On a limited account.
After entering the admin credentials and restarting fb2k this always happened again.

Didn't look further into it, installed the latest beta and the problem is gone...
