Whenever I double click on a .flac or .mp3 (the error does not occur with .ape files) file to play in foobar, I get the errors

Code: [Select]

and
Code: [Select]

when it tries to play. I'm not sure what the problem is, since I can play files that are in my media library fine, but can't play files that I've just double clicked. This was a spontaneous error. Everything was working fine, until it suddenly started giving me these errors.

Looks like file associations have been set by a newer foobar2000 version than you have currently installed - did you overwrite any of its files from a backup or something? Reinstalling the latest version should fix it (you settings won't be lost).
Full-quoting makes you scroll past the same junk over and over.

The problem here is that the associations are set correctly and would work fine for foobar2000 0.9.6.x, but then some older foobar2000 version is launched and it doesn't understand the passed parameters. Hence reinstall.

ETA: Naturally unless the OP really wants to use older fb2k version for whatever reason.
