equalizer preset switcher

Is it possible to add equalizer preset switcher just like we have playlist switcher dropdown menu handy? There's too many clicks required to switch between equalizer presets. If it is not possible is it possible to at least get a load preset button on the foobar2000 main window somewhere?

The EQ is just one part of the DSP chain. You can use DSP presets if you have to.

I don't see any DSP presets related actions in the Customize Buttons dialogue. Plus it's worth mentioning that equalizer is somewhat "doubled" i.e. when I enter the DSP preferences window with my View/equalizer turned on I see two equalizers. One will have the enable/disable thick field and the other won't.

It's the same place it is on the main menu.  [Main]->Playback ->DSP Settings.->[preset name]
When browsing the menus you have to shift-click menu items to see all the settings. This was added in 1.0 . You can read about it in the Release Notes.

OK, I jast had to create at least one preset in the preferences -> DSP -> ... That was the main problem. Thank you very much! I've been struggling with loading my eq presets back and forth for some time!

Two more questions:
1. Is there no chance to do a list a la built in Playlist Switcher?
2. Why the View -> Equalizer is not the same as the equalizer from DSPs?

In my layout, I have the equalizer itself in one of my tabs, you can add the equalizer with layout editing mode and it will have Load/Save Presets buttons in your main window. One click!

I had the exact same problem, and was not consciously aware of DSP presets. It's definitely more convenient than loading a preset file manually every time*!

*) My room is, shall we say, sub-optimal, for listening, so I have to reduce a few resonating frequencies whenever I don't feel like headphones.

And yet you decided not to tell how to do it exactly....
